Why do some serial cheaters stay married instead of leaving? Is it comfort, guilt, or something else?

That’s a really thought-provoking question! Marriage is such a complex thing, isn’t it?
You know, from my perspective, it could be a mix of things. Comfort is a big one—sometimes the familiar is just easier, even if it’s not perfect. Guilt definitely plays a role for some, maybe they feel like they need to stay to “make up” for their actions, even if it doesn’t really work that way.
But I also think there’s something to be said for the idea that people stay because, on some level, they still value the relationship. Maybe they’re holding onto the good times, or the idea of what their marriage could be. It’s like they’re stuck between the life they have and the life they want. It’s a tough spot to be in, for everyone involved. Sending positive vibes your way!
